Common Thread Mural

Paul J. Schupf Art Center, Waterville, ME

Visitors to the north stairwell of the Paul J. Schupf Art Center will discover this vibrant, large-scale mural designed by Elizabeth Jabar and Collen Kinsella as part of the Common Threads project. Featuring a beautiful rendering of the Two Cent Bridge and incorporating graphic elements created over the course of the project, the mural brings the exhibition outside the walls of the gallery and invites the community to reflect and engage.

Funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and the Maine Arts Commission. Realized in partnership with the Colby College Museum of Art and its Lunder Institute for American Art.
